I am Sadness. I am the truth of what hurts. I am the echo of love, the weight of what mattered.

Don’t rush me away. If you try to bury me, I will seep into everything - your body, your mind, the corners of your joy. I will call it emptiness.

Sit with me in the quiet. Let the tears fall. In my heaviness, I wash the world clean. I remind you that you loved, that you were alive enough to lose. I help you feel what is true, so that one day, the tide can turn. Beneath my quiet ache is simply the depth of what you cared for.

The Inside Matters

Sadness's skin is a soft, quiet blue - the colour of open sky and calm water. Blue carries truth, reflection, and depth. It speaks of honesty, communication, and the stillness that follows the storm. Droopy hair strands fall like weeping willow branches.

Inside rests a sprig of lavender. Lavender has long been a balm for the restless heart. It offers an ancient lullaby for a heavy heart. A moment of grace. A chance to rest. It soothes sorrow and reminds you that peace can grow gently.

Sadness is also filled with pale blue wool - soft and cloudy, holding you in quiet tenderness.

At the very bottom, five amethyst stones settle - a cool, quiet anchor to remind you that the flood will pass, and you will find solid ground again.

Scent
